An illustrated catalogue of primary type specimens of the Lepidoptera in collection of the Zoological Museum of Moscow State University described in the second half of XXth century.

SUMMARY. An illustrated catalogue of the type specimens of Lepidoptera deposited in the Zoological Museum of Moscow University after its first cataloguisation from 1981 to 2003 is given. Only primary types (holotypes, lectotypes, neotypes and syntypes) of Lepidoptera are included in the catalogue. In the old list 196 type specimens were listed; here we add 80 new type specimens representing 79 taxa. These are 76 holotypes, 1 neotype and 3 syntypes of two taxa. Authors of the scientific names of these taxa are 35 entomologists: 27 Russian and 11 foreign. Holotypes are: 47 for butterflies (37 have been established as subspecies and 10 as species) and 29 for moths (25 holotypes of species and 4 of subspecies). 43 holotypes where established by professional entomologists and 33 by amateur entomologists. In total the Zoological Museum of the Moscow University at the moment hosts primary types of 169 nominal species group taxa. The conditions of type material depository in Zoological Museum are described.

Additions and corrections to the fauna of Lepidoptera of the Tula Province. 3.

SUMMARY. Additions and corrections to the lists of Lepidoptera of Tula Province are given, which contain 47 species, 43 of which are listed for the Province for the first time, and 16 species (Trichophaga scandinaviella Zagulajev, 1960, Exaeretia praeustella (Rebel, 1917), Cricotechna vitisella (Gregson, 1856), Agapalsa idaeella (O. Hofmann, 1869), Casignetella gardesanella (Toll, 1953), Casignetella pseudociconiella (Toll, 1952), Megacraspedus separatellus (Fischer von Röslerstamm, [1843]), Scrobipalpa рrосlivella (Fuchs, 1886), Nothris verbascella ([Denis et Schiffermüller], 1775), Phalonidia contractana (Zeller, 1847), Epiblema junctana (Herrich-Schaffer, 1856), Dichrorampha incursana (Herrich-Schäffer, 1851), Pammene gallicana (Guinée, 1845), Cydia fagiglandana (Zeller, 1841), Homoeosoma inustellum Ragonot, 1884, Stenoptilia coprodactyla (Stainton, 1851)) — for the first time for the Central European Russia, and Stenoptinea cyaneimarmorella (Millière, 1854) — for the first time for the European Russia.

Moths of Udmurtia. 2. Geometridae (Lepidoptera).

SUMMARY. An annotated checklist of Geometridae of Udmurt Republic is presented, based on 1987–2009 collections, museum material and published data. It comprises 223 confirmed species, 18 of which are reported as new for republic and 7 (Archiearis notha (Hübner, 1803), Tephrina arenacearia ([Denis et Schiffermüller], 1775), Napuca taylori sibirica (Djakonov, 1955), Elophos vittaria (Thunberg, 1788), Chloroclysta siterata (Hufnagel, 1767), Eupithecia extraversaria Herrich-Schäffer, 1852, Eupithecia ochridata Schütze et Pinker, 1968) as new to Middle Cisuralia. Included without numbers are 16 local and rare mostly steppic species known only from literature data or old collections. Five of the more southern or western species (Elophos dilucidaria ([Denis et Schiffermüller], 1775), Phaiogramma etruscaria (Zeller, 1849), Epirrita dilutata ([Denis et Schiffermüller], 1775), Eupithecia insigniata (Hübner, 1790), Rhodostrophia badiaria (Freyer, 1841)) are excluded from the checklist of the republic due to previous misidentifications. A taxon originally described as Gnophos dilucidaria var. minor Krulikowski, 1913 is stated not to be associated with the species Elophos dilucidaria ([Denis et Schiffermüller], 1775) due to clear external differences. Its specific affiliation needs to be determined by type examination.
