Summary. Two new taxa of the genus Polyommatus Latreille, 1804 (subgenus Agrodiaetus Hubner, 1822) from Kyrgyzstan are described: P. melanius komarovi Korb, ssp.n. (type locality: Kyrgyzstan, Moldo-Too Mts., Koro-Goo Pass, N41° 31.576' E74° 39.127', 2300–2500 m), P. samusi Korb, sp.n. (type locality: Kyrgyzstan, Moldo-Too Mts., Koro-Goo Pass, N41° 31.576' E74° 39.127', 2300–2500 m). The lectotypes of P. melanius (Staudinger, 1886) and P. kindermanni (Lederer, 1852) are designated. On the basis of the type and available material investigation the following nomenclatural acts are proposed: P. melanius rueckbeili Forster, 1960, stat.n., P. melanius duplicatus (Bang-Haas, 1910), stat.rev., P. melanius khamul Korb, 2009, stat.rev., P. juldusus kirgisorum Lukhtanov et Dantchenko, 1994, stat.rev.; P. juldusus gorthaur Korb, 2009, stat.rev., P. ishkashimicus Stshetkin, 1986, stat.rev., P. iphigenides danilevskyi Dantchenko, 1994, stat.rev. The new synonymy is established: P. iphigenides iphigenides (Staudinger, 1886) = iphigenides alajanus Korb, 1997, syn.n. A new taxonomical circuit of the taxa closely related to P. melanius and P. iphigenides is proposed.

First finding of the mantis genus of Statilia Stal 1877 (Mantidae) in Russia

Summary. On 3.11.2015 we observed and photographed an adult female of Statilia maculata (Thunberg 1784) near Vardane Lasorevskiy District, Sochi, Krasnodar Region, Russia (N43°44?20?, E39°32?03). This is the first finding of this species and genus in Russia and Caucasus. Statilia maculata is Far-Eastern species of praying mantis and an alien species for Caucasus. It is possible to explain the finding of this species on Krasnodar Region by transportation along with exotic plants.
