S.K. Korb, S.F. Melyakh Two new snout moth species of the group Scoparia juldusellus (Caradja, 1916) (Lepidoptera: Crambidae) from Kazakhstan SUMMARY. Two new species of Scoparia Haworth, 1811 from Kazakhstan are described: S. karatavica, sp. n. from Syrdaryinsky Karatau Mts., and S. balchashica, sp. n. from the Balkhash Lake banks. Representatives of this group are recorded from Kazakhstan for the first time, they are for the first time collected at a low elevation (about 400 m above sea level) and firstly detected in the desert or semidesert biotopes. urn:lsid:zoobank.org:pub:AE4CA680-559B-407F-AF1F-01BA29E1B819 |
