Additions and corrections on the fauna and ecology of Kaluga Province Lepidoptera. 2.

SUMMARY. Additions and corrections to the list of Lepidoptera of Kaluga Province are presented based on collections material of 2008-2010 and the analysis of published data. An annotated list of 53 species is presented, with 45 species being recorded as new to the рrovince, including 2 (Psorosa nucleolella (Möschler, 1866), Nephopterix angustella (Hübner, 1793)) — as new to Central Russia, the rest being demanding further investigation. Occurence of Chlorissa cloraria (Hübner, [1813]) and Trichopteryx polycommata ([Denis et Schiffermüller], 1775), previously recorded only in the early XXth century is confirmed. The following species are exсluded from the species list of Kaluga Province and Central Russia due to previous misidentifications: Eteobalea intermediella (Riedl, 1966) (beata auct.) (belonging to Е. anonymella (Riedl, 1965)), Epiblema sarmatana (Christoph, 1872) (=fuchsianum (Rössler, 1877)) (belonging to Е. graphanum (Treitschke, 1835)), Eucosma scorzonerana (Benander, 1942) (belonging to Е. obumbratana (Lienig et Zeller, 1846)), Udea accolalis (Zeller, 1867) (belonging to U. fulvalis (Hübner, [1809])), Amblyptilia acanthodactyla (Hübner, [1813]) (belonging to А. punctidactyla (Haworth, 1811)), Merrifieldia malacodactyla (Zeller, 1847) (probably misindentified М. balliodactyla (Zeller, 1841)), while Elophos dilucidaria ([Denis et Schiffermüller], 1775)] is excluded from the species list of Russia. Previous records in the region of the unrevised sibling-taxa Platyptilia gonodactyla ([Denis et Schiffermüller], 1775) and P. calodactyla ([Denis et Schiffermüller], 1775) are stated to belong to one species, preliminarily referred to as P. gonodactyla sensu [Zagulajev, 1986]).

We exclude Scotopteryx bipunctaria ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775) from the faunistic list of the Geometrid moths of Stavropol Territory (similar Scotopteryx aelptes (Prout, 1937) inhabits the region). The list is based on materials collected by the author in 2007 – 2009, on collection of V.V. Tikhonov (Pyatigorsk), collection of Kiev National University Zoological Muzeum, collection of Zoological Institute RAS (Saint-Petersburg) and on all data published earlier.
