Additions and corrections to the fauna of Lepidoptera of the Tula Province. 2.
SUMMARY. Additions and corrections to the lists of Lepidoptera of Tula Province are given, which contain 24 species, 20 of which are listed for the province for the first time, 7 species (Denisia stroemella (Fabricius, 1779), Eupoecilia cebrana (Hübner, [1813]), Capricornia boisduvaliana (Duponchel, 1836), Lobesia abscisana (Doubleday, 1849), Grapholita nigrostriana Snellen, 1883, Eupithecia spadiceata Zerny, 1933, Idaea dilutaria (Hübner, [1799])) – for the first time for the Central European Russia. Previous record of Adela sp. pr. cupriacella (Hübner, [1819]) for Tula Province is corrected to A. fasciella (Fabricius, 1775). Two species (Nothris verbascella ([Denis et Schiffermüller], 1775), Epagoge grotiana (Fabricius, 1781)) are excluded from the regional list due to unreliability of the initial records. Taking into account the recent research on mitochondrial and nuclear DNA markers a new combination is embrañed: Polyommatus eros orientalis (Krzywicki, 1983) [Vodolazhsky et al., 2009], with a reservation that all subspecies of P. eros (Ochsenheimer, 1808), displaying a practically irreversible reproductive isolation and morphological and ecological divergence can be considered as developing “protospecies”.
